My initial reaction: Ha! I totally predicted this! Just yesterday, I looked at your chin and thought, "Wow, he's totally able to grow facial hair and he's not. He's probably wondering if he should."
I think you should try it, but I should warn you that it might be embarrassing. Not that I doubt your ability to grow it (I actually have no idea how it will turn out, and I'm wicked curious), but there will be people (as these comments prove) who will disagree with your choice. But then, it's your face. You'll just have to come up with witty comebacks for those people.
I have more, but I'll wait until I watch the whole video. Dude, why've you been holding back on these important questions?
My initial reaction, "Facial hair? no....he's waaaay to young for.....wait.....oh NO! I must be OLD!!!"
I think it's a worthwhile experiment, if for no other reason than to find out how well you CAN grow a beard. Word of warning though, this may not actually be true, but ever since I did grow my beard out I don't think I've ever gotten as clean a shave since.
Oh and I thought this chart might be useful for deciding which style of facial hair to attempt (or just for laughs). http://i.imgur.com/PHmF5.jpg

PS A very close female friend of mine says that girls do like facial hair and she tries to make me keep mine all the time.

I think a thin line along your jaw would emphasize your jawbone (a good thing) maybe a goatee (not so much) NO MUSTACHE OF ANY KIND!!!
