It seems like sin - and its accompanying guilt - is inescapable. How can I be righteous?

Also, I stumbled across this verse yesterday: "For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death." -2 Cor 7:10

Yes, it's valentines day. Yes, I was a thousand miles away from my girlfriend. Yes, it sucked. (but not really, I had a great day. Just that part was unfortunate)
