The idea that understanding is somehow a change of the self is very interesting. But do you have to be conscious of the state? Can you call it understanding if you live a certain way without knowing it intellectually?

(this also made me wonder... does competition of ideas further real understanding?)

I love watching you explain this. (maybe because I can imagine that you're saying it to me?)

And yeah, I would agree that understanding the truth in your mind can help you walk according to it.

Also... I fixed the width of the video. :)

Also, something I thought of later: I think this relates to "faith without works is dead", a kind of allusion to that deep seeded understanding, a understanding that by necessity changes. *nod*
