I'm so happy that you chose to talk about this. Cos I was wondering.
About passion helping us internalize: this makes sense in the light of passion motivating action, and action being proof that you've made an idea your own. Also, I like this idea of cultivating passion for things that are important.
Isn't it pronounced "Vittgenstein"? I actually would have suggested "The Deep Things of God" even if you hadn't been leaning towards it. Hmm... I wonder what it would be like to read that along with The Mind of the Maker. (which talks about the creative process in light of the Trinity)
When I finished watching your video I had an urge to do something completely spontaneous and irrational, but I wasn't sure what. :P
Yes, it is pronounced Vittgenstien. I considered adding a notation for that but I forgot about it.
"I actually would have suggested 'The Deep Things of God' even if you hadn't been leaning towards it." Great minds think alike!
"When I finished watching your video I had an urge to do something completely spontaneous and irrational, but I wasn't sure what. :P" :D When I feel like that I start by running outside . . . then do . . . something!
A Year Of Questions is a project begun on March 22, 2010, by seven teens who want to be better at asking questions and articulating answers. This blog exists to make it easier to discuss these questions (because a 500 character limit on YouTube comments is rather limiting). Enjoy!
