Freida, this is one of my favorite of your videos. I have been thinking a lot of the same things, and want to both agree wholeheartedly, and run to God asking him to never let my weak self forget.
There are some very helpful hints about 'loving' in the bible. 1. Know thyself: very good advice on the road to loving. 2. Love yourself: You can't be loving to anyoneone else until you truly love yourself.
Specificity aside, the Bible has been surprising me for the past few months (now that I'm actually reading it regularly) in how much it reveals to me about myself in the books that never seemed to me to be as "helpful," or "applicable."
For example, I'm reading Jeremiah right now, and I can totally relate to Judah and to Israel. Goodness. Yes. And this recording of prophesies spoken to a nation that had turned from God has given me such a picture of God's love for me... I'm so glad I didn't skip it.
Oh, and this sounds obvious, but... that's a great verse. Yeah. Thanks for the video! Even if it was late, it certainly wasn't a cop-out.
PUNISHMENTS!! >:D
I think you should have to wear a paper bag over your head in your next video, or hold a sign with a picture of your face in front of your actual face. Either of those would be amusing to watch. AND you have to keep it on for the whole video. :)
A Year Of Questions is a project begun on March 22, 2010, by seven teens who want to be better at asking questions and articulating answers. This blog exists to make it easier to discuss these questions (because a 500 character limit on YouTube comments is rather limiting). Enjoy!

Thanks for your questions!
When you find that book, can I borrow it? :P
