Are sharing, trusting and loving worth it? Friday questions.

In addition to my Youtube comment, here are a couple of silly observations:
1. It looks like you're wearing a silly band. Are you? Is one of those a silly band? I have to know.
2. You (accidentally I'm sure) quoted the Skillet song "Awake and Alive." I was singing along. XD
On a more substantive note, I have a few people in whom I can confide anything. I have a number more in whom I confide some things. I think the problem is thinking that everyone needs to be on the first level. I thought that for a while. It's easy to do for some people (read: me) because it feels special to share your deepest secrets with someone. And it is, so we shouldn't do it too often and we should only do it once we're sure we can trust someone.
On the flipside, my pastor point out this morning that there is always risk involved when you share something. There is always some faith and trust required. However, not everyone needs to hear everything, and we shouldn't ruin the specialness of sharing by giving ourselves away to someone we relatively just met.
Good question(s). Even when you're late, it's great to hear your videos. Just try not to be late next time. ;)
A Year Of Questions is a project begun on March 22, 2010, by seven teens who want to be better at asking questions and articulating answers. This blog exists to make it easier to discuss these questions (because a 500 character limit on YouTube comments is rather limiting). Enjoy!
